Project Overview

Provide conceptual design and pre-construction services for the engineering and construction of a 2,750 BPD Used Lube Oil Recycling Plant with expansion capacity to 5,000 BPD. The scope included inserting a new production facility with a custom low pressure superheated steam generator, specialized thermal reactors, tanks, drums, cooling towers, waste water treatment, compressed air, and new power and water services into an existing tank farm and barge load/unloading area to handle and process used lube oil to generate a gas oil distallate.

Critical Project Demands

Converting an existing tank farm storage facility on a restricted wetland site into a petroleum recycling facility within tight cost parameters for a proprietary process design that required several custom fabricated process components – boiler, reactors, etc. on a site with poor soil and logistical conditions.
