PROTECS Celebrates the Opening of Purolite’s New Manufacturing Facility
Providing Leveraged Design/Build Services for Life Sciences
King of Prussia, PA, December 5, 2022 – PROTECS celebrates another important milestone for Purolite’s, an Ecolab company, new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Purolite recognized the opening of its facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony joined by state and local officials.
This 74,000-square-foot manufacturing facility is connected to the existing 21,800-square-foot PROTECS Innovation Center III located at 3700 Horizon Drive, King of Prussia, PA. Purolite’s new facility showcases just how PROTECS continually supports the research and development operations of innovative companies in life sciences and high-tech industries throughout Montgomery County and even globally.
“PROTECS is proud to assist in fulfilling the increasing global demand for Purolite’s pharmaceutical and life sciences products by being the design/builder for this project, which includes two new cleanrooms to manufacture active pharmaceutical ingredients,” said Christopher DiPaolo, President and CEO of PROTECS. “We look forward to continually providing our unique and collaborative project delivery approach to Montgomery County and build upon existing relationships with clients who share our core values of integrity, passion, safety, innovation and teamwork.”
This state-of-the-art facility will add 75 new jobs to the region and is the fifth manufacturing facility for Purolite. The new manufacturing operations will increase the company’s production by a total of 67%.

In addition to 3700 Horizon Drive, PROTECS has three other Innovation Centers: one in Blue Bell and two in Plymouth Meeting totaling 190,000 square feet and containing 18 technology and life sciences companies.
