Provides Leveraged Design/Build Services for Clients and Tenants During Challenging Times

Plymouth Meeting, PA, March 16, 2021 – PROTECS is proud to highlight innovative life sciences companies who support the global fight against COVID-19 with integral diagnostic tests and customized clinical trial services.

“I work as a joint head of new assay development, where I spend my time developing and validating new assays that ReligenDX (Religen) can offer to help diagnose people with complex diseases. We have used our experience and resources as a diagnostic company to launch a high sensitivity COVID RT-PCR diagnostic test. This test is available locally, providing fast and accurate results for the people in our community who need it most,” said Jared Darling, Assay Development Coordinator at ReligenDX.

Similar to other tenants at PROTECS’ Innovation Centers, Religen benefited from being able to expand beyond its existing lab space so the company could hit the ground running on COVID-19 research. “Being a tenant at the PROTECS Innovation Center enabled us to quickly expand into new space which was already fit out to support our scientific needs. Otherwise, it would have taken months to acquire the additional lab space needed to perform our COVID assay,” concluded Jared.
